Plywood

Our shop can supply a varied range of waterproof plywoods at both WBP (waterproof and boil proof) and Marine grade. These panels are supplied as 1220mm X 2440mm. The Ockume Marine Grade panels are supplied as 1220mm X 2500mm and are stamped BS1880 standard. Also in stock is Superform ® Flexible Plywood which is available in both long and short grain. These panel are supplied as 1220 x 2440mm.

WBP GRADE

('WBP' stands for water and boil proof)

There is normally an 'A' and 'B' face, front face being a single veneer and the back face consisting of two or more parts. It is made of mixed wood species similar to Meranti. It is stronger than Ockume Marine Ply and is exceptionally well priced.

BS1088 Marine Grade

This is the genuine Marine Grade Plywood, stamped to BS1008 Standard. It has Ockume veneers throughout, with two good faces. It is lighter in weight than the WBP grade Plywood.

Superform ® Flexible Plywood

Superform ® can be used for interiors and exteriors, it is perfect for developing curves whether it be for Yachts Interior/Exterior, Shop fitting, D.I.Y or Industrial use. This Flexible plywood can be supplied in Long Grain 2440 x 1220mm and Cross Grain 1220 x 2440mm panels and is available from 3mm through to 16mm. (Contact us for more specs on eg. Deluxe Light Ply

This is a NEW rigid ply available. It is taking the industries by storm due to its extremely light weight and cost savings and the fact that it has been produced to BS1088 standard.
